Figure H8 is a 2 player arena fighting ice skating game.

Made for the Blueberry Game Jam

Figure H8 Update by 8/30/21

Gameplay Functionality

- Power ups will be removed and transfered to a new "Game Event" system that will essentially make these power ups happen randomly and on random players instead of making the player use the power ups.

- Health will be removed (The only way to die would be to fall in the ice), there will still be a stun effect on attacks though.

Game Modes

- Classic (Versus 2-4p: Round based mode where last man standing in round gets a point, first man to x points wins).

- Coin grab (Versus 2-4p: 1 round of constant coin grabbing objective, player with most coins at end of game wins).

- Survival (Co-op 1-4p: 1 round of constant survival, ai components will all target players and try to make them fall in the ice, see how long your team can survive).

Art

- New figure sk8ter animations that make more sense

- New ice texture to make the ice floor look much better

- New walls

- New stands and filler for the stands

- New skybox

- New / Tweaked UI theme, will all be consistent across the whole game as well

- New title screen

- other improvments

System

- Provide online functionality so that all game modes can be played online over the network (This can be turned on and off, by your cabinet administrator)

- Make quit button actually exit the application, versus go to title screen

- Make a controls button that shows the controls before getting in a game

- Various other menu changes for consistency and readability
